Life as an “Army Brat”… it’s quite difficult, it’s extremely nomadic, and it’s very much of a character-building experience. But, of course, most military youth know this because they are where I was some time ago.

I didn’t have the same experience as most do today.  I spent the majority of my time as a military child living on Ft. Bliss. However, I did come away from the whole thing with an interesting perspective on both the good and bad parts of it all.  read more here >>>

My journey with Speak Out Military Kids is one that I will never forget. It all began when my mother informed me of a group that was designed and orchestrated to help both military and civilian youth cope with deployment and the influence that the military lifestyle has on our lives.
